Terence Lim (pictured in Black T-shirt) was a tireless and generous uncle to his nieces and nephews, good friend to many and decades long charity worker, always having a heart for others first. He was also a Professional Engineer (QP) much respected by his peers and clients. We have heard from friends in Bhutan, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Myanmar and elsewhere. Everyone deeply mourns this loss. Terence single-handedly & generously supported food programs, sewing schools, goat farming, house rebuilding, medical teams, water systems, fish farms and so much more.

  1. “Deeply saddened by this loss. Terence’s life truly reflected the heart of Christ—serving others with love and generosity. ‘Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord’ (Matthew 25:23). May the Lord comfort all who mourn and strengthen you with the hope of eternal life in Him.”

  2. My name is Alex, and I’m from Indonesia. I first met Terence during the 2018 earthquake in Lombok. At that time, he came with his team to provide social services in the field of healthcare. We then collaborated to serve the communities in the affected villages.

In early 2019, Terence once again demonstrated his compassion by helping to bring a clean water project that was extremely beneficial, especially for schoolchildren who could drink the water directly.

To me personally, Terence was a very kind, humble person with a strong charisma. His concern for others was so genuine and left a deep impression on many people, including me.

We feel very fortunate to have known him. Now, we will continue to remember him through every act of kindness and “legacy” he left among us.

  3. It is with a heavy heart that I remember my dear friend Terence Lim Poo, whom I have known since 2016. His passing has deeply saddened me and many others whose lives he touched.

Terence was a kind and generous person who made a meaningful impact in the community in Nepal. In so many ways, he extended his help, support, and compassion to those in need. His contributions were not just acts of service, but expressions of a sincere and loving heart. I am truly grateful for all that he has done for us and for the difference he made in our lives.

I will always remember him for his humility, kindness, and willingness to serve others. His life was a blessing, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.

During this time of grief, my deepest condolences go out to his family. I pray that God comforts your hearts, gives you strength, and surrounds you with peace. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    With heartfelt sympathy and gratitude,

Today we honor a life fully surrendered to God—a passionate tentmaker -missionary who lived with purpose, bold faith, and unwavering love for the Kingdom.

“Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate.” — Joe2:13

Terence ran his race with faith and finished strong (2Tim4:7). His life reminds us to return to God wholeheartedly and live for His glory without hesitation.

The torch is now in our hands. Let us rise, carry the forward, and continue the work he loved so deeply.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

  5. YWAM KPK, Pays Tribute to our Beloved Brother Terence Lim.

We (YWAM, KPK, Pakistan) are in deep sorrow upon hearing the news of the passing of our beloved brother Terence Lim. His global service for humanity is unforgettable. He stood faithfully with YWAM, KPK, Pakistan, providing unwavering spiritual, moral, and financial support for the development of communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
On March 20, 2026, we were preparing to celebrate the opening ceremony of our Sewing Center. Early that morning, we were shocked and deeply grieved to hear the news of Brother Terence’s passing. Due to this great loss, we postponed the event to March 21, 2026.
Yesterday, we held the ceremony in a very simple manner. It was a moment filled with both sorrow and gratitude, on one side, we felt the loss of our dear brother, and on the other, we laid the foundation of a project made possible through his support.
The YWAM KPK team and the Sewing School students paid tribute to Brother Terence’s faithful service during the opening. We have dedicated the Peshawar Sewing School in his honor, so that the seeds planted through his generosity will always remind us of him and grow into a strong tree—bringing blessing and transformation to many lives. His mission of kindness and service will continue.
Though he is no longer with us, YWAM KPK will carry forward his Kingdom-centered vision and keep it alive in our lives. We believe that one day we will be reunited with our dearly loved brother and together sing praises and thanksgiving before our Lord.
We are praying for Brother Terence’s family, that the Lord may grant them comfort, peace, and strength during this time of deep sorrow, and allow them to experience His perfect hope.
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen
With deep sorrow and abiding hope in Christ.
    YWAM, KPK, Pak.
